Key Responsibilities
As an operational specialist for water and wastewater management, your daily duties will involve a high level of technical precision and accountability:
* Operate and continuously monitor the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) installations to guarantee peak performance.
* Conduct routine inspections covering machinery, industrial pumps, storage tanks, and all secondary utility systems.
* Ensure that treated water output consistently complies with strict internal company benchmarks and external regulatory frameworks.
* Maintain accurate logs of operational parameters and compile comprehensive daily activity reports.
* Manage chemical dosing procedures strictly in accordance with standard operating procedures.
* Maintain rigorous housekeeping standards within the workspace and execute minor preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
* Collaborate proactively with the Maintenance department whenever technical anomalies arise within the system infrastructure.
Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this critical technical role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
* Minimum educational background consisting of a Vocational High School (SMK) or Diploma (D3) degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience working as a WWTP or WTP operator within a manufacturing environment. (Fresh graduates possessing strong theoretical knowledge of water treatment processes are also encouraged to apply).*
* Demonstrated understanding of clean water processing (WTP) and wastewater treatment (WWTP) methodologies.
* Proficiency in assessing water quality parameters and operating heavy-duty pumps, filtration systems, dosing pumps, and associated auxiliary machinery.
* Familiarity with water treatment chemicals and the practical implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) standards.
* Willingness to work within a dynamic shift-scheduling system.
