## Available Position: Junior Operator
We are currently looking for a dedicated Junior Operator to join our Operations Department. In this critical frontline role, you will be instrumental in the daily monitoring and execution of gas turbine combined cycle systems, ensuring that our plant maintains peak performance while strictly adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Operator, your role will be vital to the plant's operational continuity. Your daily tasks will include:
* System Oversight: Safely and efficiently monitor and operate Combined Cycle Power Plant systems.
* Operational Control: Execute start-up, shutdown, and precise regulation of heavy plant equipment.
* Routine Inspection: Conduct regular site walkthroughs, record critical operational data, and immediately report any technical abnormalities.
* Technical Proficiency: Interpret complex technical documentation, including P&ID drawings, logic diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Chemical Monitoring: Provide support for chemical system monitoring and water treatment processes.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure total compliance with established quality, environmental, and safety standards at all times.
* Collaboration: Participate actively in shift handovers and maintain clear, professional communication with your team members.
* Support Functions: Assist with routine maintenance testing, waste management, and site-wide operational tasks.
## Candidate Qualifications
To excel in this position, we are looking for candidates who possess the right blend of technical expertise and personal drive.
* Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations, ideally within a power plant or heavy industry setting. (Highly qualified fresh graduates with strong academic and technical foundations are also encouraged to apply).
* Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of CCP operations, power plant terminology, and water chemistry.
* Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and analyze P&ID drawings and logic diagrams effectively.
* Communication: Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
* Adaptability: A willingness to commit to a rotating shift schedule to support 24/7 plant operations.
* Soft Skills: A proactive, self-motivated, and safety-conscious mindset, paired with the ability to thrive in a high-performance team environment.
