## Career Opportunity: Junior WTP/WWTP Operator
PT TJB Power Services is currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join their operations team as a Junior WTP/WWTP Operator. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the facility’s water and wastewater management systems.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of equipment and facilities across several critical areas:
* System Management: Operate and monitor the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Makeup Water Plant, Electro Chlorination Plant, and the Sea Water Intake area.
* Operational Coordination: Maintain seamless communication and coordination with the WTP/WWTP Control Room.
* Safety and Performance: Ensure that all systems function in strict accordance with safety protocols and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
1. Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Conversion Engineering.
2. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in power plant operations is preferred; however, high-achieving fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Technical Knowledge:
* Foundational understanding of water treatment processes and water chemistry.
* Knowledge of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, and bearing assemblies.
* Working knowledge of Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and electrical systems.
* Awareness of fire-fighting procedures and first-aid protocols.
4. Communication: Competency in basic English to facilitate technical documentation and professional interaction.
