PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysian state-owned oil and gas giant, remains at the forefront of the global energy sector. With a comprehensive portfolio spanning upstream exploration and production to downstream initiatives—including Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and petrochemicals—the company continues to strengthen its footprint in the region. Following its strategic expansion into the Masela Block in 2023 alongside PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), PETRONAS now manages participating interests in eight blocks across Indonesia, half of which are currently in the production phase. ## Current Professional Vacancies
We are seeking dedicated experts to fill critical roles within our organization. Please review the requirements for the following positions:
1. Senior PSC Management Officer
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economy, or Petroleum Engineering.
* Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
* Competencies: Deep understanding of Exploration & Production (E&P) business, combined with technical knowledge of petroleum arrangements, including Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), Gas Sales Agreements (GSAs), and Unitization Agreements (UAs).
2. Senior Risk Management & Emergency Response Officer
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related discipline.
* Experience: 8–10 years in E&P, petrochemical, marine, or high-hazard industries.
* Core Skills: Expert knowledge of Incident Command Systems (ICS), emergency coordination, and crisis management. Proven ability to lead large-scale drills and execute incident investigations (e.g., TapRooT, Tripod Beta). Exceptional analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential.
3. Maintenance Planner
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
* Experience: 8–10 years in oil and gas maintenance activities.
* Competencies: Proficiency in maintenance planning software (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar CMMS) and reliability methodologies like RCM, FMEA, and RBI. Must be an independent professional with strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
4. Administration Assistant
* Education: Diploma in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in office management or administrative support.
* Core Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
## Technical Field Roles (Offshore Operations)
We are looking for seasoned technical professionals capable of thriving in challenging offshore environments.
5. Mechanical Technician
* Requirements: Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of hands-on experience in offshore or petrochemical facilities.
* Expertise: Deep knowledge of rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, gas turbines) and static equipment. Proficiency in CMMS/SAP is required.
* Preferences: Certifications in gas turbine maintenance (Solar GTG preferred), rigging, lifting, or MIGAS/DISNAKER crane operations.
6. Instrument Technician
* Requirements: Technical Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics with 10+ years of offshore experience.
* Expertise: Proven ability to operate and maintain DCS (Honeywell preferred), SIS, and FGS systems. Familiarity with industrial IT networking is highly valued.
* Preferences: Formal training in Functional Safety (IEC 61511), hazardous area certification, and fire/gas system maintenance.
