# Call for Applications: National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) Leadership Recruitment
The Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia is officially inviting highly qualified professionals to participate in an open selection process for the leadership of the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT). As the government body responsible for regulating and overseeing all national transportation sectors, the Ministry is seeking dedicated experts to fill critical roles as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Sub-Committee Members.
## Open Positions
The recruitment drive seeks to fill the following key leadership roles within the KNKT:
1. Chair of the KNKT
2. Vice-Chair of the KNKT
3. Member (Chair of the Maritime Accident Investigation Sub-Committee)
4. Member (Chair of the Aviation Accident Investigation Sub-Committee)
5. Member (Chair of the Railway Accident Investigation Sub-Committee)
6. Member (Chair of the Road Traffic and Transport Accident Investigation Sub-Committee)
## Role Responsibilities
* Chair: Leads the overall execution of KNKT’s functions, policy direction, and strategic objectives.
* Vice-Chair: Supports the Chair in managing and overseeing the committee's operational effectiveness.
* Sub-Committee Members: Each member is tasked with leading, organizing, controlling, and supervising investigations regarding accidents specific to their assigned transportation sector (Maritime, Aviation, Railway, or Road Traffic).
## Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for selection:
* Must be an Indonesian citizen (WNI) of good moral character.
* Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree (S1) or Diploma IV in a relevant field.
* Must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in their respective transportation sector.
* Must demonstrate proven leadership and organizational management capabilities.
* Must be no older than 60 years of age at the time of application.
* Must be physically and mentally fit, drug-free, and have no history of criminal records or active legal disputes.
* Must not hold membership in any political party.
* Must be willing to resign from or take leave from existing roles (PNS, TNI/POLRI, or private/state-owned enterprises) within one month of appointment.

Required Documentation
Applicants must prepare scanned copies of the following:
* Valid National ID (KTP) and a recent 4x6 color photograph.
* Academic certificates (D-IV or S1).
* Signed formal application letter and Curriculum Vitae (on Rp 10,000 stamp duty).
* Health certificate from a government physician.
* Proof of 2024 tax reporting.
* Additional documents specific to the applicant's current employment status (e.g., SK of appointment, official approvals for public servants, or experience verification letters for non-government applicants).
